South Cambridgeshire District Council Depot before demolition October 2024

The council depot was on the south-east side of Water Lane between Queens Way and Meadow Farm, where Saxon Close (built c. 2005) is now.

Aerial photographs. The council depot is visible at the bottom of the pictures. Between the depot and Oakington Brook it is the cemetery and fields showing medieval house platforms, tracks, and ridge & furrow fields.
