61 High Street. Left: 1920s. The girl is Poppy Nichols with her spinning top. The wall in the top right of photograph had the garden of the Manor House (71 High Street) behind it. The wall, which stretched to what is now 69 High Street, has since been demolished and bungalows built on the site. Right: The view in 2021.

61 High Street was probably built in the 19th century.
