Cottages opposite the bakery. R Warboys’ caption read Note Chapel in background and small building/wash-house(?) on right of cottages.

These cottages would have stood around where 16 High Street is today. They were demolished in the 1930s.

Cottages opposite the bakery. R Warboys noted The elderly gentleman on the tricycle is my great uncle Ellis Warboys who died in 1933. Note the solid tyres on the tricycle. In those days there were many nails on the road from horses hooves and the studs in boys boots and pneumatic tyres would have been punctured frequently.
